What do you need to submit an ACG application for aside from lot clearing and new construction? The following are some of the things that REQUIRE approval - remember, if in doubt ASK!:

• Removal of any viable / living tree over 6" in diameter (as measured no higher than 1 foot above the ground surface)
• Fencing
• Deck or Porch
• In-ground pools
• Tanks or Ponds
• Guest or Servant Building
• Garage or Additions to Dwelling
• Remodeling that alters the exterior of the house
• Out Buildings and Sheds
• Driveway or Culvert

The following are some of the things that do not require approval:

• Maintenance including painting using the existing colors
• Irrigation Systems
• Landscaping that does not add structures, fences, ponds, etc. or affect or change structures
• Removal of brush or pruning of trees. Small trees under 6 inches in diameter like Yaupon. Removal of one or two dangerous dead or dying trees
• Interior remodeling that does not affect the exterior appearance
